UK Fiancé(e) Visa
The UK Fiancé(e) Visa must be made online from outside the UK. The UK Fiancé (e)Visa is for engaged partners of British or Irish citizens, persons who are settled in the UK, persons with pre-settled status, persons with a Turkish Businessperson or Turkish Worker visa and persons with refugee status or humanitarian protection who wish to enter the UK and marry within 6 months of their arrival. It is essential that both the applicant and partner satisfy the requirements under Appendix FM of the Immigration Rules.
The UK Fiancé(e) Visa does not lead directly to settlement in the UK. Once you have married in the UK, you can extend your stay and apply for permission to stay on the Spouse Visa. The Spouse visa can lead to settlement in the UK under 5- year route.

UK Fiancé(e) Visa Requirements
- Your Partner is British or Irish, a person with Indefinite leave to remain/ settled status, an EU national with pre-settled status, Turkish Businessperson or a Turkish Worker Visa or has a refugee status or protection leave in the UK.
- You and your partner must be aged 18 or over at the date Visa application.
- You and your partner must not be within the prohibited degree of relationship.
- You and your partner must have met in person.
- The relationship between you and you partner must be genuine and subsisting.
- Any previous relationship must have broken down permanently.
- You intend to live together permanently in the UK.
- You intend to marry within six months of your arrival in the UK.
- Your partner must satisfy a financial requirement, which can be met through income of not less than £29,000 annually.
- You must provide evidence that there will be adequate accommodation, without access to public funds, for the family (including other family members who are not included in the application but who live in the same household), which the family own or occupy exclusively.
- You must meet the English language requirement. When you applying for entry clearance you will need to show competence in the English Language to at least CEFR Level A1.
